    Honest reminders and a catalogue we can change

    • Your studio settings and each client record now say plainly that reminders go by email, instead of promising a text message while text messages are not switched on. Nothing about your reminders has changed - only what the screens claim.
    • Runavel's emails now come from mail.runavel.com. Add it to your contacts if confirmations and reminders matter to you. Support is still support@runavel.com.

    A simpler audit log

    • The staff audit log now has one search box that matches an action or the person who did it, and a time range you pick with a click, instead of five separate filter fields.

    Identifiers that sort by time

    • Internal record identifiers now carry the moment the record was created, so anything ordered by id is ordered by when it happened. Nothing changes in how you use Runavel; it keeps the database quicker as it grows.

    Honest subscription figures

    • The internal console counted an account on a 100% discount as paying, so it showed a paying customer next to zero revenue.

    • Internal monitoring reported Runavel's scheduled jobs as not running when they were running normally.

    Downloads work again

    Fixed
    • Downloading a data export failed with "could not be found" even though the file was there. The same fault affected every download from storage, including signed consent PDFs and reference images on enquiries. All of them work again.

    Scheduled work is watched

    • Runavel's background jobs now report in when they finish, so if one stops running we are told rather than finding out later. Expired data exports are also cleared every few hours instead of once a night, which means an archive of your records is removed sooner after its download window closes.

    Monitoring beyond errors

    • Behind the scenes, Runavel now records which version each problem came from, keeps the log lines leading up to it, and measures how long pages and queries take. None of this changes what you see; it means a problem you report can be traced to the exact release and request rather than guessed at.

    What's new, and a refunds policy

    • Runavel now publishes everything that has shipped, at /changelog - newest first, in plain language, with a link to each release.
    • The terms of service now carry a refunds policy: monthly billing, cancel any time and keep working until the end of the month you paid for, and two things we refund without argument - a charge you did not agree to, and a month Runavel was unusable through our fault.

    Finding a client, and an export that tells you it is ready

    • The export page now updates by itself the moment your export is ready. It used to sit on "Being built..." until you refreshed the page.
    • Choosing a client on a booking or an enquiry is now a search box rather than a dropdown of every client you have. On a studio with years of history the dropdown could not reach everyone, which meant creating a duplicate client without realising.
